Teaching a range of half-day, full-day and evening masterclasses that cater for all, chef and owner Simon Hartley shares his knowledge and passion for food.

From bread-making and tapas to sushi and how to cook the perfect steak, our courses are fun-filled days where guests cook up a storm!

FAQs

  • How big are the classes?

    Each class can cater to a maximum of 10 guests (2 people per workstation). For private classes, please contact us directly and we’ll cater to your event.

  • Allergies and intolerances

    Everyone is welcome at the school, and all dietary requirements are catered for. Please advise us of any allergies or intolerances in your booking. If you have any questions, please email us directly.

  • What's included? (classes)

    Alongside your course tuition, the classes include all ingredients, aprons, equipment, tea and coffee throughout the day and recipe cards to take home.

  • Parking

    There’s plenty of free parking at Bradmoor Farm, take care to stick to the strict 5mph speed limit when arriving and leaving the school.

  • Accessibility

    The school is on the ground floor and accessible for wheelchair users. Making sure that everyone can come to the school is important to us, so do get in touch if you have a disability or special requirement and we will ensure you are accommodated.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

    You don’t need to bring anything other than your appetite! Everything is included in the course fee.

  • What level of cooking skill do I need?

    All abilities are welcome at the school, just come as you are and your tutor will make sure you have everything you need - from guidance for total beginners to industry tips and techniques for established foodies.

  • Cancellation policy

    Bookings are fully refundable up to 4 weeks ahead of your class, and 50% refundable up until 1 week before. Bookings are non-refundable if the cancellation is made within a week of the class, but we’re more than happy to facilitate re-booking you onto a different day.

  • What's a chef's table?

    Our chef’s tables are an interactive private dining experience. Sit back and relax with a glass of wine while Chef creates you and your guests a bespoke menu. Typically 4 courses with bread and petit fours. £70 pp, max 12.
